TsurianTsurian snakes are quite active as they are never caught sleeping or resting. These snakes make dens inside of trees as the only way you could find a resting Tsurian would be inside of a tree. Their poison isn't dangerous to wolves as it's only effective on smaller animals. The poison paralyzes their prey and can cause their prey to fall asleep. But their poison takes a long time to work on larger mammals like wolves because of this they mainly hunt smaller animals like tiny birds, mice or reptiles. They use their tongue to sense and taste their surroundings. Like most snakes the Tsurian has an excellent sense of smell. Unlike many snakes they have a keen hearing as well as they often hunt by listening to the noises the other animals produce., often mimicking these noises as if a creature of the same kind is only nearby rather than a dangerous snake. Their sight isn't so keen which is why they depend on their hearing and smell.
AppearanceTsurian snakes aren't the biggest snakes on Delv Ihoo but for being part of the viperida family on Delv Ihoo they are some of the largest of their kind. Both genders always feature a brown color on the top of their body while the under body is a lighter brownish yellow. This species never comes with the same marking as every individual features different markings on their body and face. What is typical is that the marking on their body are usually very thick stripes, although they aren't equally the same with one another they do resemble each other greatly as the markings are similar. Their eyes are always yellow as the inside of their mouth is a grey like pink. One difference between make and female is that the females are larger.
HabitatTsurians can only be found in the Poison Forest were they originated. Believed to have been effected by the powers of the poison dragon Velok, they are colored to perfectly blend in to their surroundings.

Ability(ies) / Power
Tsurians are known for their "launch and strike" method. As they smell and hear they corner their prey by mimicking sounds in case their prey seems restless to comfy that thought. When ready rather than to stalk and strike, they pull their body back and with a powerful strike they launch their entire body forward usually successful and grabbing their prey. As many snakes Tsurian is also poisonous but what sets it apart from normal poisonous snakes is that it can also form poison like balls in it's mouth, as the forest contains purple berries the Tsurian often leaves this poison like ball that resembles a berry near the bush in order to find an unlucky creature that decided to feast on this poison ball. Next to this they have unique fangs which allows them to bite other poisonous creatures and steal poison, they themselves are immune to it.
Reproduction
Both male and female Tsurians become sexually mature around 10 years old. They follow a breeding season which is in may, as the month before that the breeding seasons for birds was still going on. During that season the female snakes look for baby birds to consume and fatten herself up to prepare for mating. In order to attract a mate females will rub their body and leave skin behind on more obvious locations to give away were they are located. When males pick up on this they will make a visit which usually is completely relaxed and friendly, as no violence occurs during this time. When the female Tsurian is ready she lays about 1-20 eggs as the male will guard the eggs with the females for about a month. After this month both male and female will leave their separate ways as they babies hatch independent and don't rely on their parents. A baby Tsurian is easy prey but they growl quickly to their maximum size in about 2 weeks.
