HamitsuHamitsu bears are over all known to b one of the softest and most gentle bears in Delv Ihoo. Being known to even communicate with wolves. They do depending on how hungry they are chase of predatory animals of their kill in order to steal but this is rare. Females of this species are known to travel in groups which can exist out of 3-4 different individuals and possibly their cubs. Due to this not many predatory animal pick a fight with females as compared to the males they are far more aggressive. Especially the males had to pay for their softness, as the Shadow Clans are known for trapping them and abusing them till they end in a rage cycle which basically makes the bear unpredictable and aggressive. Shadow Clans have released these bears near packs as in a way to dominate other packs but this had left to many misunderstandings as wolves would end up killing such bears by using powers out of fear they might attack. Due to the Shadow Clans their species has declined as more than ever females will remain in groups for safety as males end to travel deeper and higher up the forests and mountains to avoid conflict. They love honey which their name refers to, as they love looking for beehives and consume the honey it contains. Female Hamitsu bears are some of the best mothers around as they will defend their cubs risking their own life if needed.

The males gain a dark brown pelt featuring yellow and white markings all over their body while the females feature a much lighter and brighter brown pelt. The females do have yellow like markings as well only the yellow is a different tone as they also feature white markings. Both genders do have a black nose, black pads, yellow eyes, white claws and have yellow gums with their upper part being a lighter tone of yellow. Males are larger than females and then to look more robust.

To attract a mate a male Hamitsu bear will present the female a beehive which can be more than one, if the female accepts this generous gift they will pair up for a long time. A female Hamitsu bear is pregnant for around 12 weeks as the male will guard her during this time. When the female gives birth the male will leave as the mother no longer needs the protection of the male.
