Takaya WisteriaBackgroundTakaya first appears in the series when Ruuza's group reaches the poison forest. Her family had spotted the group earlier in the forest and her mother, Shira, had become interested in coming up with a plan to capture Ruuza. The first steps was for Takaya to become part of the group, as they discus the plan. Although she will do as her mother says, Takaya does not seem to agree with the choices her mother makes, as she looks nervous during the majority of the episode. Even so, she will not disobey her mother’s orders.
As their plan unfolds, Takaya’s two brothers, Regy and Suke, take their roles by attacking the group. They deliberately play the stereotypical aggressive poison wolf, which all wolves are aware of. As her brothers execute their part of the plan, Takaya runs to the “rescue” in a hero-like fashion, as she tackles her brother away and pretends to protect the group, who is unaware of their family ties. Because Takaya is a calm wolf, she simply explains that she helped out because wolves like the attackers gave her species a bad name, and she is trying to convince the group that poison wolves can be different than the ones that attacked them.
Eventually Matt allows her to join, which later reveals to be for only one reason: to have an extra body guard for Ruuza. Mutt however doesn't trust her at all, making Takaya realiz that Mutt could cause a problem to her goal. As tries to interact with Ruuza who wasn't friendly in response, it left Takaya a little uncertain, as it is her goal to earn the trust and acceptance of Ruuza and the others.
When arriving at the BlazingWood pack, Takaya seemed rather nervous, not liking the thought of entering the village. She mentions being afraid, and that they could perhaps find out who she is. This would mean that she is probably known for crimes in the past. She mostly stays quiet and avoids contact, also showing that she is not a fan of babysitting. It had become one of her tasks, to keep an eye on Mutt and Ruuza whenever both Matt and Kala are unavailable.
When Matt and Kala spoke of their past, she began to doubt herself if what she is ordered to do is right or wrong. Revealing that her family was a lot different, indicating that her childhood wasn't as pleasant as most wolves who are born with a loving family. She clearly is stuck between understanding what is right and wrong.

Personality
Takaya is shown to be a bit of a mystery. She is submissive towards her mother and is not the type of wolf to make choices on her own, relying on the judgement of others. Even so, she is shown to be struggling with her ways, doubting herself and the choices her family makes in her place. She mostly sounds calm and gentle, but clearly shows in her thoughts that she has another side of her personality where she only wants to reach her goal. She will behave in any way to accomplish that goal but in episode seven, she clearly doubts herself and the judgement of her mother.
