DescriptionForest Rabbits are a well known and common species on the island of Delv Ihoo. They are quick and agile but a favorite of the wolves. They are often hunted due to their softness, as their meat is really tender. The females tend to be hunted more as they are quite gentle and often don't put up much of a fight when taken. The males on the other hand are known for their feisty nature. They have a non stop habit of keeping their ears facing towards one another almost like the antlers of deer. They do this to intimidate possible predators and other small rodents that might cause a problem. They are known to put up quite a fight to defend themselves or their partner. Forest Rabbits tend to live in small groups often featuring a few males to protect the group. They dig holes in tall grass for safer protection as the grass hides their den. Due to their pelt color they have more than often outsmarted wolves by blending in perfectly in the grass. When they feel threatened they will show their nails as well and usually have their tail and hair stand up. They are known to reproduce quickly as it only takes 20 days for a female rabbit to give birth. The baby rabbits are grown up after a month. They are extremely social animals and often groom one another to tighten the bonds.
AppearanceForest Rabbits have a green pelt that is similar to the grass they hide in. They also feature darker green markings on their body. The species of Rabbit has extremely fluffy ears, the male forest Rabbit is known to point it's ears towards one another all the time to resemble the antlers of a deer. The females compared to the males do not pose their ears differently. Female forest Rabbits do have slightly longer tails and tend to be faster. The males on the other hand have their neck fur completely colored as it almost seems like manes. This species also has their nose colored and the males have darker colored eyebrows. They always have green eyes. Their paws do not have paw pads like all bunnies. But their paws are quite unique compared to most as they have more feline like paws with claws that can be retracted.
HabitatThe forest Rabbits are quite common in regular forests. It usually depends on the shade of grass in what forests they live or appear. They live close around streams as well as they have quite the appetite for water.

DietThe forest Rabbits are known to eat grass, berries and plants, but they also enjoy eating seeds. Rarely they are seen to eat insects as well.

Forest rabbits do not posses the power to control nature, but they do posses powers quite similar to that of Forester and Plant species of wolf. When forest rabbits walk and touch the ground with their paws, life flourishes and often a forest with many forest rabbits is known to be in a very healthy state.
Reproduction
Both male and female Forest Rabbits become sexually mature around 1 month old. They do not follow a breeding seasons as they are known to breed whenever a female is ready for mating. Unlike other rabbits the Forest Rabbits have a complete different way of living as a group of these animals consist of a few males and many females similar to the way a herd of deer live together. A female of this species only needs 20 days to give birth, as the baby rabbits after a month go their own way in search of a new group. Baby Forest Rabbits reach their maximum size in only 20 days.
