Luna LinaruBackgroundIn episode 4, it was revealed that Luna was not a Cosmic wolf, but instead an Elemental wolf. Elemental female wolves are born with the ability to produce pups of a different species, making them the only species that cannot give birth to hybrids. Luna's mother was a Metal wolf named Alkina, who escaped the attack on the "Elemental pack" years before the Dark Cities became the target. Luna's mother had taken her to the Lunar pack, knowing Luna herself could blend in perfectly there. Once she left Luna there, Alkina was never heard of again.
Luna was taken in by Kratos, who appointed a female wolf to adopt Luna and raise her as her own. Luna adapted to her pack pretty quickly, but kept her roots a secret as most children of her age were not aware that she was not an actual Cosmic wolf. Luna closely befriended the children of Kratos after he had asked them to watch over Luna and guide her through the pack. Luna grew up to be a proud, strong female, rising in ranks pretty fast. She was extremely determined and skilled.
At the age of 15, Locin and Luna became pretty close to one, another becoming mates in the process. Luna ended up being a teenage mother, giving birth to her litter before her 18th birthday. She had refused for her own mate to see them the very same day. Kratos, who was not too pleased with Locin, understood why Luna didn't want anyone to see, as her Elemental wolf species obviously didn't bring her Cosmic pups. Eventually, Luna confessed to her mate and friends in the pack. They, however, didn't care what species she was, she was family to them.
When the Dark Cities got targeted and destroyed, Luna and Locin managed to escape with Ruuza before any of them got captured. During their travel, they decided to head to a Cosmic pack in the mountains they were allied with. On their way they had come across Kane who was on his way to a slave camp. Luna and Locin saved him in time, and Luna herself brought Kane to a hidden cave in the desert, telling him to look for survivors and bring them here. She promised him she would return later. Episode 7 reveals that both Luna and Locin had become leaders for a short period of time in the Cosmic pack in the mountains.
For unknown reasons, Luna and Locin left that mountain pack with Ruuza. Eventually, Locin ended up battling Chaos and died in the process. Luna ran towards the "Iron forest" where she left Ruuza on her own in the bushes. She left Ruuza with the strange words "I will sacrifice my life for you", suggesting she didn't go back to fight Chaos but instead went back to die. Why Luna went back remains a mystery.

Appearance
Luna is an Elemental wolf with the appearance of a Cosmic wolf. She has the typical dark blue pelt colour of a female Cosmic wolf, as well as the standard yellow markings on all four paws, inside ears and tailtip. Apart from that, she also has a crescent moon marking over her right eye, and a larger one running over her belly. Luna has bright blue eyes and a black nose.
Abilities and Moves
Luna is the first character to showed a special, unique move. Being symbolized can have its advantages, as the different symbols can allow a wolf to learn special moves. In this case, Luna's "Moonshine" allows her to fire off a powerful beam of cosmic power. As her markings lighten up, the moon-shaped marking on her right eye fires off the move. Aside from that, she has only been shown using regular bites and tackles.
