DeidrilionDeidrilions aren't very active during the day, they usually remains on a comfy spot for about most of the day while at night they look for food. Unlike many other reptiles Deidrilions can stand temperatures a lot better, as they can live very well in the cold. The reason behind this is that during the day when they catch sunlight they can store it up into their bodies which is why on most sunny days they'll remain motionless on a branch. When they look for food they use their tongue which they can extend greatly, aside from that they also climb trees and use their special front claws to rip open wood and find insects behind the cover of the tree. Their eyes are very sensitive to light, this results in them having a poor eyesight during the day while at night they can see extremely clear. To scare of predatory animals they have two types of defenses. The first defense is their scream, they can make extremely high noises which scares of wolves and other predatory animals, especially during the day they often make this noise also to defend their territory. Their second defense is the most effective, their body is like a walking bottle of poison as they are known to have some of the most effective and deadly poison from all animals even outmatching poison wolves. Basically any predator that dares lock it's jaw on this creature will end up fatally poisoned and usually within minutes dead. Because of this defense this creature has about no natural enemies as only poison resistant creatures would aim to kill and eat it, as the biggest enemy of a Deidrilion remains another Deidrilion because these reptiles are extremely territorial.
Appearance
Deidrilions have a rough scaly body, as some of it's scales even point upwards giving this pelt like look on it's back. They are brown over most of the body but feature lighter yellow like colors on their under jaw, belly and nails. Their upper jaw has teeth like structures even though those itself are not teeth, they have a horn on top of their head as well. Their eyes are flashy green just like the inside of their mouth as their tongue can stretch out twice their body size. All over their body these creatures have what seems to be warts, these actually have a purpose as they are extremely sensitive and can pick up changing temperatures which allows the creature to know if it needs shade or heat. Size wise they are equally the same.
HabitatDeidrilions are only found in the Ruins, Poison forest and Shadow forest, as they prefer darkness over light. Shadow like places also allows them to blend in much better.

Ability(ies) / Power
Wolves believe that these reptiles existed in the poison forest and just like Poison wolves were effected by the power of Velok. They earned elemental powers, as not only are the poisonous but they can actually spit poison but also release poison like waves as a defensive attack. Aside from that they are known to glow and increase their defenses as their scales harden and make it harder for any creature to attack or kill a Deidrilion.
Reproduction
Deidrilions are rare due to a reason which is the slow reproduction and the violent mating ritual. Although they have about no natural enemy their increase in population remains slow. Female Deidrilions only become sexually mature around 25-30 years old while males are sexually mature around 30-35 years. These creatures do not follow a breeding season as for one individual finding another individual that's old enough is already a challenge on it's own. In the end it's their mating ritual that makes everything quite a danger. If a male succeeds it's his job to stay with her and guard her eggs until they hatch, but for a male to prove it's worthy enough to defend her eggs they engage in combat with one another. Because of this rather aggressive approach it often happens by accident that one of the two actually kills the other one which results in a wounded Deidrilion and one that is death. The issue is that when engaging in combat their natural surviving instinct often kicks in which results in a more deadly approach. When succeeded the female will prepare a nest as they dig a hole in a tree were she lays around 2-3 eggs. The male will gather earth in it's mouth to put on top of the eggs. After this the eggs take around 6 months to hatch. Once the babies are born the male will leave as the female for about 5 years will take care of them. After these crucial 5 years Deidrilions are big enough to live on their own and will leave their parent.

Trivia
- Deidrilions are inspired by the "Chameleon".
- Creating this creature I was inspired by the pufferfish natural defenses being "poison".
- Color wise the creature remains over all brown to blend in his or her surroundings, as the bottom is light colored.
